GINGOOG CITY

Gingoog City is located in the province of Misamis Oriental, Nort-western coast of Mindanao, Philippines. Approximately 122 kilometers from Cagayan De Oro City and 74 kilometers from Butuan City. The City was founded by Spanish missionaries in 1750, the oldest City in Misamis Oriental Province. Gingoog originally came from the word "Hingoog" means good luck in Manobo a native tribe who originally settled in the area.

The City is now called as CITY OF WATERFALLS for the series of waterfalls that have been discovered within the area, but most of it can be found in the heart of forested and remote areas which requires more time to explore and reach.
